The duel, France versus the rest of the world

France is regarded as the motherland of wine and yet struggles with prejudices such as too expensive, too complicated or too much acidity, clichés that this evening at the Vinothèque La passion du vin in Bern playfully puts to the test. In each round, two wines of the same grape variety go head to head blind, one from France and one from another country, and guests try to identify the French one. 8 to 9 wines are tasted, accompanied by small bites and grissini.
