Cheese & wine, nothing cheesy here, we pair it

At the Vinothèque La passion du vin on Schauplatzgasse in Bern, the evening revolves around the dream pairing of cheese and wine, and why one wine for every cheese rarely works. Soft cheese, mild hard cheese, aged, salt-driven extra-hard cheese and blue cheese are each paired with different wines, with the focus on salt content, ripeness, creaminess and texture. In total, 8 to 9 wines are tasted in a guided session, served with small bites and grissini.
