The Wine Walk Salgesch sets off from the station and covers around 8 kilometres through the vineyards of the Valais wine village, up to the Mengis Suone and back along the flat irrigation channel path to the Museumsplatz. Along the way, Salgesch wineries pour Valais wines at their stands, plus food, music and a party to finish. You can start any time between 08:00 and 12:30, and the ticket includes a tasting glass with glass holder and food and drink vouchers worth CHF 16.
