At Wine Spring, the wineries in the Valais wine village of Salgesch open their doors for a day and invite visitors to taste their wines right in the cellar. There are matching culinary specialities from the region and plenty of village atmosphere. The highlight is the legendary barrique race, in which teams roll a 225-litre wine barrel around a course through the streets of Salgesch.
