About this event
On the first weekend of December, the Bayard family in Varen opens its wine cellar for Advent and invites you on Friday evening and Saturday to discover and taste the house wines in a cosy atmosphere. The estate in the Pfyn-Finges nature park offers 25 different quality wines, from Fendant, Johannisberg, Petite Arvine and Humagne Blanc to Pinot Noir, Cornalin, Humagne Rouge, Diolinoir, Œil-de-Perdrix and sparkling wines, some of them aged in oak barrels. The vines have been farmed according to organic guidelines since 2014, and whenever possible fermentation happens spontaneously without cultured yeasts.
