Rosé by the Lake is the summery rosé festival on Lake Zurich: once a year the Samigo on Mythenquai turns into an open-air tasting right by the water. Various wine merchants like Bindella and Vinothek Brancaia pour their rosé selections. A wide choice of rosés and champagnes à discretion, plus food, a DJ and sunset over the lake. Apéro mood rather than tasting-room seriousness, just right for a mild May evening.

What makes Rosé by the Lake special
Rosé à discretion
You pay entry once and then taste as much as you like at the wine stands. A broad selection of rosés and champagnes from across Provence, Italy, Spain and Switzerland, presented by merchants like Bindella and Brancaia.
Right by the water
The Samigo sits directly on the Mythenquai with a view over Lake Zurich. Rosé in your glass, sunset over the water, summer hardly gets better in Zurich.
Food and DJ
Food stalls provide the base, a DJ the mood. The whole thing runs until midnight, so not just a quick apéro.
Summer apéro rather than a fair
No stiff tasting hall, but a relaxed open-air party. If you like rosé and mild evenings, this is the place.

Takes place every May
Rosé by the Lake is an annual event. In 2025 it was on 16 May, in 2026 on 28 May. The 2026 edition is over and online sales have ended. The date of the next edition will be announced in good time via Samigo and the participating wine merchants.
Come by public transport
The Samigo on the Mythenquai is easy to reach by bus and tram. If you're tasting, you're better off leaving the car at home anyway.
Plan food separately
Entry covers the rosé tasting. Food runs via the stalls on site and is not included in the ticket.
Being early pays off
The wine stands run until 9:30 pm, food until 9:00 pm, then it continues with the DJ. If you want to try all the rosés, come early.
