Sound of Wine 2026

Wine, music and a light show at the Hallenstadion Zurich on 19 September

Sound of Wine is honestly not what most people picture when they think of a wine fair. Instead of sterile convention-centre charm, Vergani turns the Hallenstadion into an Italian-flavoured wine party with live music, a light show and an aperitivo vibe. Theme: "Una Notte a Milano".

What makes the evening special

Wine meets live music

Sound of Wine is not a classic fair where you swirl and nod reverently. There are DJs, live acts and a proper light show.

Tasting à discretion

You pay entry once and can then taste at all the bars as much as you like. Various producers present right on site.

Tavolata concept

If you prefer it more relaxed, you book a seat at a Tavolata. Reserved table, aperitivo platters, an anchor in the buzz.

Public transport pass included

Every ticket includes the ZVV day pass for zone 110. Nicely handled: if you're tasting, you don't drive.

Line-up 2026

Vergani has confirmed the first acts: international artists, electronic sounds and plenty of Italianità on the main stage. More names to follow.

DJ Joe Rok

Italian lifestyle meets Afrobeat and house vibes, high-energy sets with summer feeling.

Valentino Vivace

Italo disco, pop and electronic sounds, a retro-modern mix with proper festival feeling.

DJ Carol Fernandez

Stylish sets between house, disco and modern club sounds.

Terroir by Sarc:o

Atmospheric soundscapes with electronic music and immersive visuals.

Designlight

The evening's light production: immersive visuals that merge music and atmosphere.

On top, producers present their wines in person: tasting and talking directly to the winemakers is part of the concept.

Five tariffs. All incl. ZVV pass and tasting glass.

Tips for the evening

  • Early Access pays off

For CHF 40 more you get access two hours earlier, a proper aroma training and, above all, empty bars instead of queues.

  • In a group? Book a Tavolata

From two people you get the Shared Tavolata, from eight the Private Tavolata, CHF 185 each. Early Access and the aroma course are now included, plus a reserved anchor in the arena rather than doing everything standing up.

  • Use public transport

The ZVV day pass for zone 110 comes with every ticket. Tram 11 from the main station to Messe/Hallenstadion. A car would be a bad idea anyway.

  • Plan food separately

Italian specialties are available on site, but not included in the ticket. Bread, salami, cheese, enough of a base for the evening.

  • 18+, keep your ID ready

Clear age limit. For an event like this it obviously makes sense.

Tickets are available directly from Vergani. As of 06.07.2026, all tariffs are available and seats are limited. Experience shows the event has sold out in recent years, so booking early pays off.
