The Hoher Kasten is the panoramic mountain of the Appenzell region. The cable car takes visitors from Brülisau up to 1,794 metres above sea level in eight minutes, where the view stretches across six countries and the only revolving restaurant in Eastern Switzerland awaits. The summit is also home to Hohe Klasse, by its organisers' own account the highest wine fair in Switzerland, with more than 100 wines from selected estates across Europe and an afterparty in the revolving restaurant.
