At 1,794 metres above sea level, the Hohe Kasten turns into Switzerland's highest wine fair: selected wine estates from all over Europe pour over 100 wines for free tasting, with personal conversations and a 360-degree panorama over the Rhine Valley and the Appenzell region. The ticket for 95 francs includes the ascent and descent by cable car, the tasting and access to the afterparty with DJ in the revolving restaurant. Guest numbers are limited, admission is by ticket only.
