Vins du Lac de Bienne, the Rebgesellschaft Bielersee, brings together more than 40 wine estates around the lake, from Twann to Ligerz and Tüscherz. Its roots go back to 1781, when the Rebgesellschaft Twann-Ligerz-Tüscherz was founded, out of which the current organisation for the whole Lake Biel region grew in 1990. At the Haus des Bielersee Weines in Twann, a former winegrowers' house from 1933/34, wine lovers meet for tastings, seminars and private celebrations. Those keen to explore the region can hike through the vineyards or pick up the tasting box with wines from the Three Lakes region.
