Trüelete Twann

Trüelete Twann

1 event · Twann

The Trüelete is the crowning finale of the Lake Biel wine festivals and takes place in the winegrowing village of Twann, where wine has been grown for more than a thousand years. It takes its name from grape pressing, and since 1980 a fountain flowing with Twann Chasselas and a large craft market have been part of the festival. The highlight on Sunday morning is the traditional village relay race with around 1000 runners, alongside live music ranging from jazz to Schlager and a colourful children's programme. In the village's wine cellars, carnotzets and festival tents, visitors taste the local wines directly from the winegrowing families.
