At Hugi Weine in Selzach, wine has been a family affair for a hundred years. August Hugi founded the business in 1926, and today Heinz and Beatrice Hugi run it in the third generation, supported by their daughters Stephanie and Nadine. The focus is on direct imports from small producers, above all Amarone, Ripasso and Recioto from Valpolicella, complemented by wines from France, Spain, Portugal and overseas. Tastings take place year-round in the vaulted cellar and lounge of the wine merchant's, with highlights such as the Amarone Festival and the Piemont Festival.
