Fischer Weine in Sursee traces back to Johann Fischer, who discovered his love of wine during a stay in Italy in 1882 and began importing Italian wines to Switzerland by rail through the Gotthard tunnel. Today Anna and Oli Fischer already run the family business in its fifth generation from Bahnhofplatz in Sursee, following Josef and Hans, Sepp and Hans, and Thomas and Urs Fischer. The range includes more than 1,300 wines and spirits with a focus on Italy, Spain and France, sourced directly from friendly family wineries and long-standing winemaker partners. Anna and Oli pass on that passion for the trade at their own events too, from winemaker talks and wine trips to the Erlebniswelt Wein tasting event and the Planscher Festival.
