Cave Jean-Daniel Coeytaux
In the Coeytaux family cellar in Yens, above Lake Geneva, the vaulted cellar dates back to 1597; the family took over the estate in the 1950s and since 1988 the wines have again been vinified and bottled on site. Since 1994 Jean-Daniel Coeytaux has run the estate together with his wife Sylvie, across 10 hectares within the La Côte appellation, overlooking Lake Geneva and the Alps. Under the motto "from vine to glass, with heart and passion", every step happens at the estate itself, from the vineyard through hand harvesting to the bottle, following the Production Intégrée guidelines and the Vinatura standard. To taste the wines at the source, the cellar can be visited by appointment on weekdays or at the open Saturday tasting from 10am to 1pm.
