Bindella has stood for wine and Italian joie de vivre since 1909, when Jean Bindella founded a wine trading business focused on importing Chianti from Tuscany, before opening his first restaurants in Zurich with his wife Anna Maier soon after. Over four generations, the family company grew to include its own estates around Montepulciano, the Tenuta Vallocaia and Vergaia, plus several restaurants and vinotecas across Switzerland. The motto “la vita è bella” of Rudi Bindella, who has led the company since 1982, still shapes today's wine dinners, banquets and other events where guests get to know the wines from the family's own Tuscan vineyards.
