Besserstein Wein is a winegrowing business in Villigen in the lower Aare valley, named after the Besserstein rock spur on the Geissberg. The winemakers' vineyards lie around this rock spur and on south-facing slopes along the Aare, Limmat and Reuss. The range includes white, rosé and red wines as well as sparkling wines made by the elaborate traditional method, of which the business is particularly proud. Its home venue STAMM+LOKAL at Winkel 15 in Villigen hosts tastings, vineyard tours and events, plus further events throughout Aargau.
