Behind about CHAMPAGNE is Peter Jauch, author, journalist and champagne expert, for whom champagne is always wine first. He writes about food and drink for media such as BILANZ, Handelszeitung and finews, judges sparkling wines on tasting panels and has published a book about champagne. Since 2018 he has hosted tastings, dinners and other formats in Switzerland and Germany. At the wineBANK in Zurich he leads evenings tasting nine champagnes around one theme, and with Champagne Sunday he brings champagne houses and winegrowers to selected hotels in Lausanne, Munich and Berlin together with local partners. He also offers tastings for client events, food pairings with chefs and group trips to Champagne.
