Over two days, more than 60 wines are available for open tasting at the Secli Weinwelt in Buchs SG, and ten wineries are there in person, including Obrecht, the Hanruedi Adank family, Kollwentz, Forstreiter, Markowitsch, Bodegas Vizcarra, Bodegas Casa la Rad, Tenuta Monteti, Colesel and Longo 1961. At separate tables, the Secli team also presents its favourite champagnes and a choice of its cellar selections. Food is provided by the Grabs dairy, the Gnusstreff Buchs, the Wanger bakery and Goufrais cocoa confectionery.

In the large-format bottle cellar, Ivan Secli guides guests through eight wines in four flights that are linked to personal stories for him, from Périscope Brut Nature 2018 by Domaine de Bichery and Krug Grande Cuvée to Meursault Narvaux 2008 by Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey and Riesling Bodenstein 2009 from Weingut Prager, through to Château Pontet Canet 2005 and Barolo Pajana 2005 by Domenico Clerico. To finish, two Trockenbeerenauslesen from Kracher in Burgenland are poured. The Friday masterclass lasts around 45 to 60 minutes, is held standing in groups of no more than 14 people in German and requires at least ten participants.
