La Saint-Vincent de Villette

For the Saint-Vincent at the end of January, the winegrowers of Villette welcome guests to their caveau in the former communal bake oven in the heart of the village of Aran, where the crus of the Villette winegrowers from Lavaux are usually tasted. The traditional festive menu includes saucisse au chou, cooked in the old still. In the afternoon, a trail lined with winegrowers' sayings leads on a short walk to the Echelettes, where mulled wine with a hint of orange awaits.
