About this event
On the first weekend of December, more than 60 Valais wine cellars open their doors and invite visitors to taste their vintages, coordinated by the umbrella organisation Swiss Wine Valais. Participants include Domaine Jean-René Germanier in Vétroz, Rebgut Bielen in Gampel, Chanton Weine in Visp, Domaine du Mont d'Or in Sion, Gregor Kuonen and Adrian & Diego Mathier in Salgesch, and Cave Bridy in Savièse. Anyone visiting several cellars can discover around 55 grape varieties and, according to the organiser, benefit from gift boxes and discounts.
