73. Winzerfest Döttingen
About this event
The Winzerfest Döttingen is one of Switzerland's largest wine festivals, with more than 52,000 visitors at the last edition. For three days, everything in the Aargau wine village revolves around wine. The festival opens on Friday at 7 pm at the Ochsen roundabout, followed by concerts on two stages, 22 taverns and bars and ten wine tasting stands keeping the party going late into the night. On Saturday the winegrowers' market draws crowds from 9 am to 4 pm with more than 100 stalls, plus a street artist festival, a children's programme and the vineyard train into the Döttingen vines. The highlight is the 73rd winegrowers' parade on Sunday at 2 pm, in 2026 with 53 floats under the motto «Es Glas ide Hand, s Winzerfest im Herz» (a glass in hand, the festival at heart). The festival has been organised by the Verein Winzerfest Döttingen since 1996. Entry works via the festival badge, 10 francs for all three days, free for children up to 16. Practical bonuses include free parking, special night trains and the 5-franc ride-home service within 10 kilometres.
