At the Wine Battle hosted by Rutishauser-DiVino in Winterthur, eight wines compete against each other: the audience votes live and decides the evening's champion through a knockout format with quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final. Surprise challengers add excitement, and close calls are settled with an audience duel, all accompanied by live music from Florian Geibel on electric piano and hosted by Nikolai Kemle. Participation is free with a wine purchase of CHF 150 or more per person, otherwise a CHF 20 contribution applies.
